Alyssa has been with Blair Defense Criminal Lawyers since 2019. When she first began at the firm, Alyssa was an undergraduate student at the University of California, San Diego, where she received a degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Law. Alyssa graduated with honors while working two jobs for the duration of her schooling.
From UCSD, Alyssa went on to graduate from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she maintained her focus and studies on criminal defense, continuing to work at Blair Defense as a Court Certified Law Clerk. During her time at USD, she participated in Moot Court and USD’s Criminal Law Society. As a Court Certified Law Clerk, Alyssa worked on many complex motions, second-chaired dozens of preliminary hearings and trials, and obtained a level of experience both in state and federal court beyond what is typically offered in even the most hands-on criminal internships.
Alyssa is passionate about advocating for individuals who cannot advocate for themselves, which translates into her drive to help ensure the best possible representation of every client. She has spent over six years at Blair Defense working directly under Attorney Blair, prior to becoming an attorney herself. This has given her hands-on experience in the most serious cases, including murder, rape, child molestation, complex white-collar fraud, and money laundering. As an associate attorney, Alyssa has the perspective and experience of a veteran attorney who has seen thousands of cases and operates under the same goal instilled in the firm — to obtain the absolute best result for each client and fight until that goal is achieved.
