Alyssa has been with the Blair Defense Criminal Lawyers since July of 2019. Her work as a legal assistant entails thorough, continuous correspondence with clients, preparing and organizing motions, and working hands-on with both state and federal cases. Alyssa is passionate about advocating for individuals who cannot advocate for themselves, which translates into her drive to help ensure the best possible representation of every client.
Alyssa graduated from the University of California, San Diego where she received a degree in Political Science and Public Law. She graduated with honors while working two jobs for the duration of her schooling. During her time at UCSD, she volunteered at a number of organizations and joined Delta Gamma Sorority. Alyssa remains active in her chapter serving as a mentor for younger members who are interested in pursuing a career in the legal field.
Having recently taken the LSAT and obtaining an excellent score, Alyssa has been entertaining various scholarship offers to attend law school in the Fall of 2021, during which time she will continue her employment at the firm. Her sole focus is to absorb as much legal knowledge and experience she can, especially in the area of criminal defense, which she plans to pursue after law school.
