Mr. Seipel began working as a law clerk at the Law Office of Peter Blair in November of 2018. Prior to working for Attorney Blair, Mr. Seipel worked for a prominent attorney specializing in cannabis law in Southern California. Mr. Seipel’s position includes:
- Legal research,
- Drafting motions and memorandums on a myriad of state and federal felony cases, and
- Trial preparation.
Mr. Seipel has been heavily involved in a state court appeal on a life-top case, a petition to the Supreme Court of California, a Petition for Habeas Corpus, and Motions to Suppress Evidence in both state and federal court. In May of 2020 Mr. Seipel graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. While at USD, he competed in national mock trial competitions, worked as a research assistant for a constitutional law scholar, and was awarded the Virginia C. Nelson Graduation Prize in Advanced Advocacy.
Mr. Seipel also worked with entrepreneurs and small businesses in USD’s Entrepreneurship Clinic, in addition to spending a summer studying in Paris under the instruction of two 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Judges.Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Seipel attended Bowling Green State University under a full scholarship as an Alumni Laureate Scholar. Throughout his time at BGSU, Mr. Seipel worked as an assistant for a highly successful author and Professor of Critical Thinking. He graduated magna cum laude in 2016.
Mr. Seipel took the California Bar Exam in October of 2020 and is awaiting results.
